Assembly was easy. The wood is nicely finished. I bought a roll of weed barrier to line the planting boxes. The liner that came with the planter was a bit small for covering the bottom. I was afraid that the soil may come out of the spaces between the side boards too. Planter matched the online photos. It looks to be a great size for flowers, herbs, and shallow rooted vegetables.

My granddaughter has been by my side in the garden since birth, so she was thrilled to get this little raised bed for her 5th birthday. We put the kit together as a team; she handset each screw, and grandma drilled them in. We had a blast dreaming about the hundreds of plants she would try in her mini garden ????. The garden is very sturdy and well-made; directions were very easy to follow. The only con is the bed liners; they are too flimsy for such a quality product, so we will just cut our own out of some mulch cloth. Truly well made for a kid’s garden.
